The work [SHOUT!] is an interactive media installation piece that deals with the idea of communication and miscommunication in fine art. The work responds to audience communication, the shouting of words, in fact. However this installation is not there to reaffirm your words, but to distort them: twisting words until meaning is obsolete. In this work Jeong investigates the ‘incommunicability of contemporary art works’. Comprehension and interpretation is dependant on how actively the audience involves in the work.
